I have spent years working in Asia and on my spare time I enjoyed heading out into the streets with my easel & art supplies. I found a shop that sold vintage Japanese news papers and used them for my canvases. I loved getting on the train and getting lost in a foreign land, from high volume fish markets to colorful narrow alleys, I'd journey until something caught my eye, then I would set up my easel and start to paint. It's amazing what you'll find when you allow yourself to get lost.
